Arts and Crafts style inspired kitchen. Designed for a Randolph, NJ residence by Loree Designs Inc. in 2010
Integral to the completely custom design by Loree were the cabinets of quarter saw oak, stained glass doors, and one of a kind, true to period lighting feature.
Tremendous attention to period detail and turn of the century craftsmanship were maintained throughout the entire design and construction process.
The Chandelier design by Loree was inspired by the Duncan-Irwin house designed by famous, Arts and Crafts period Architects Greene and Greene.
After the planning work, Loree Designs, Inc contracted a fabrication firm to construct the one-of-kind fixture.
The light fixture features 10 lamps and is handcrafted in substantial materials and built with enduring, turn of the century quality.
Another view shows the substantial granite counter tops and Loree Designed tile pattern and materials selected just for this special project.
Under counter lighting and a second Mission period lighting fixture were utilized to make this kitchen as functional as it is beautiful.
Attention to detail, planning, and quality materials make this kitchen an enduring value that may well be here 100 years from now.
Kitchens of the past were designed to survive almost forever while somewhere during the past 50 years quailty was reduced and lifespans dropped to less than 20 years.
